Some covers I illustrated for Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. These are for re-releases of Just the Tates!, a series of books by Lois Lowry.
First up was designing the main character, Caroline.
These were initial sketches for the cover of the first book. Caroline lives in New York City, spending a lot of time at the Natural History Museum.
